How to join Ole Miss Equestrian
Send us your name, student email, and any questions or comments you may have using the form below, and we'll reach out to you as soon as we can!
- Who can Join? -
Any Ole Miss student can join, including grad students who have competed in IHSA as an undergrad. No riding experience necessary!
- Why Should You Join? -
Joining the Ole Miss Equestrian Club is a great way to get involved with a group of equestrians who enjoy horses, riding, and competing! You'll get to know our teammates and fellow riders in the Hunters Edge Stables community. Benefits of being a member also include opportunities to develop your leadership, time management, communication, networking skills and more.
- Involvement -
Members have two levels of involvement to choose from. Competing members actively participate in meets throughout the competition season with the goal of qualifying for finals in the Spring semester. Noncompeting members may practice alongside their competing teammates, but aren't obligated to compete.
All members are expected to participate in club community service and fundraising efforts, as well represent their school and club in a positive way.
- Cost -
All members pay semester dues, which help to cover club expenses, such as sponsored team events, travel to and from competitions, all show-related expenses, as well as the costs of keeping our horses happy and healthy. Lesson fees are additional and optional. More information will be sent to potential members who reach out with the form below.
